In 2012, I lived in Vancouver
In 2013, I spent 4.5 months traveling around the world. I visited over
14 countries and 4 continents.
In 2015, I went to Chicago, Las Vegas and spent 3 months in Mexico/Belize
In 2016, I bought a house. The furthest I’ve been this year is Toronto (from Hamilton).
This makes me so sad. I know it seems like a first world problem, and it is. The thing is, travel is addictive. After taking the leap into extended travel, I see how feasible it is, and I don’t want to stop. I do not regret buying the house, but it certainly feels like it is holding me back a bit. I now have heaps of additional expenses, and budgeting for a trip is more challenging. On top, I will have multiple bills to pay, while I travel (if I manage to get away).
Sometimes I want to sell the house and live with Daniel Norris.
Dan, if you read this, call me?
