When I first began blogging in the Summer of 2016, I wrote about fixing up my house and being a homeowner. My blog was called Hammer Home and I wanted an outlet to organize my photos and share what I was learning. My blog continued to grow but I found it hard to stick to just writing about home-ownership.
I then started writing about my past travels and my current endeavors. The blog became Pursuits of Liz and I shared a glimpse of how I manage my finances, adventures, and personal life. My writing was all over the place but I didn’t really care. My blog was fun, and it remains my passion project.
When I started featuring my friends on my blog, I didn’t want to have my name associated with the blog since it was not just about me. I’ve been wanting to change the name of my blog but knew that this would have to be the last time. 3 name changes in 1 year! That’s a bit much… but it’s also how my brain thinks.
I often have 30 balls juggling in the air. My thoughts are scattered, I struggle with concentration, but then I sit back and analyse.
I had a mini-planning session. What do I want with my blog? Who is it for? What is the message?
The result: I want to have a blog that is a resource for ambitious adults. Adults who are constantly learning and trying to improve. I want to feature other adults who are doing ambitious things; that could be buying a house, moving, traveling, starting a business or a project. I want other adults to come to my blog and feel inspired. I want people to visit my blog and think… ok, if they can do it, I can do it too!
Welcome to Ambitious Adulting
Topics include: personal finance, travel, home-ownership
For those of you who have been part of my blog journey from the beginning…. THANK YOU! If you’re new to my blog, THANK YOU!
Stay tuned! Stay AMBITIOUS!
