Buying a house on my own has not been a lonely or totally independent journey.
My family and friends have been holding my hand the entire way.
Every home visit, I brought a friend to talk me out of settling. I brought friends who knew about houses, and friends who barely knew how to use a hammer. Each and every one of them was invaluable.
Each failed house offer, I called my friends and parents to express my disappointment.
The night my house offer was accepted, I was out dancing with friends.
The day I picked up my keys, I hung out with friends.
The weeks of painting, my friends came from near and far to help me get those hard to reach areas and get the job done.
People in my life have stepped up and I am eternally grateful. A million and one thanks to the gems in my life. You are the best!
