The other day, someone asked me why I knew so many people. We were walking down the street and I said hi to a handful of friends.
I said “I think it’s because I walk with my head up”.
This friend went on a trip recently and told me he took my words to heart. He’s made new friends and made it a mission to talk to strangers. I love that.
- I love meeting strangers.
- I love making new friends.
- and I love knowing I had an impact on someone’s life.
Walking with your head up is a slight behavioral change that can make a huge impact. It helps you stay aware of your surroundings. It lets you make eye contact with a stranger and can make you seem more approachable.
We all start off as strangers.
